

Dolores Elaine “Dee” Quintana, age 86, of Thornton, Colorado, passed away peacefully at her home on February 20, 2026, surrounded by family and friends.
Dee will be lovingly remembered for her strength, generosity, and deeply caring heart. She was never judgmental, always welcoming others with a beautiful smile that could light up any room. Known for her great sense of humor, Dee was also an avid Denver Broncos fan and, above all else, devoted wholeheartedly to her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Quintana; her mother, Elsie Muniz; step-father, Greg; her father, Nathan Maynes; her brother, Larry Maynes; her daughter, Doralea Martinez; and her grandson, Matthew Martinez.
Throughout her life, Dee experienced many wonderful moments as well as significant challenges, all of which she met with resilience and grace. She believed in living in the moment and never worried about tomorrow, a philosophy that guided her through life and inspired those around her.
Dee is survived by her daughters, Terri Martinez (Dwayne), Michelle Quintana-Zarbock (Jonathan), and Suzette Salazar (Ron); her sister, Loretta Abeyta (Albert); and her grandchildren, John, Jolene, Jadine, Brittney, and Jordan. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dolores “Dee” Quintana will be missed more than words can express by her family and by all who knew and loved her.

As many of you know, Mama Dee was a devoted Denver Broncos fan. In her honor, we invite everyone attending to wear Denver Broncos attire or Broncos colors.
