Domicella “Sally” Zocholl ~ Born February 22, 1922
The youngest child of a family of sixteen to Michael &
Julia (Schachta) Chelewski in rural Loup City, Nebraska.
She graduated from Loup City High School. On July 1, 1941 she was united in marriage to Paul Zocholl from Loup City, Nebraska. They farmed in Shermen County, Nebraska for a number of years before moving to Westminster, Colorado in 1955.
Sally was a loving and caring mother with a strong faith and love of God.
She enjoyed fishing, gardening, music, dancing, and entertaining family and friends.
Sally is survived by her son, Thomas Zocholl of Grand Junction, CO and daughter Karen Drake and son-in-law, Mark Drake of Steamboat Springs, CO; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and two sisters, Pauline Zocholl and Catherine Rademacher.
Preceding her in death were her parents, 10 brothers, 3 sisters, and Dominic Drake ~ infant grandson.
