Gene, I just looked through all of the pictures posted on this website. I don’t know very many people who’ve embraced life to its fullest like Donna did! A delightful lady! Meeting you and your family was truly God ordained...and we are so thankful for every memory we have with your family. It seems we’ve come full circle from Todd being around our house in Hays to me being at his house when Larry was hospitalized in Denver, with so many fun times in between! I’ll never forget the week I spent at your house sewing for Gina’s wedding and the early morning note you left for me, “the sewer!” We love you, Donna, and your wonderful family. Drive out to see us now...after you CALL to make sure we’re home! ....Larry and Millie

As a small child I remember getting beautiful doll clothes for my Barbies and for Velvet and Crissy dolls. Then as an older child sitting around the kitchen table playing monopoly and mousetrap then going skiing. As an adult thinking I want to be strong and healthy to bike all over as she did. She was a beautiful Aunt!

I first met Donna when Susan and Todd were married. I thought she was so elegant and charming. Over the years she proved my theory correct. She was always dressed so stylishly and she always had the perfect dish or dessert for family dinners. She was way ahead of Martha Stewart when it came to making everything adorable and homemade. I could ask her how to do anything in the garden or kitchen and she always had the answer. We even talked about reupholstering a chair, and she was full of advice. Donna just knew how to do everything. I will miss her sweet smile.
