One of my funniest memories with Donna was when I was 10 and she was 12. My baby sister who spent most of her 7 months on earth in Pittsburgh children’s hospital. She was actually home for a bit and Donna was visiting from Erie, Pa. and we were fighting over who got to hold the baby. We were throwing one of those plastic containers from a gum ball machine at each other with nasty notes in it. My mother finally had enough. My parents were in the middle of remodeling their old bedroom for the baby so mom gave us each a hammer and told us to take it out on the walls, and that we did! We got our frustrations out and my mom, her aunt Judy, got some cheap labor at tearing down drywall.
I love and miss you Donna.
