Donna Marie Younger, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away in her sleep on June 19. Donna was born in Leibenthal, Kansas, the middle child and only daughter or Carl and Eleanor Stecklein.
Donna grew up in Hays, Kansas. She worked at Al’s Chickenette and was a lifeguard for the Hays City Parks Department. This is where she first caught the eye of her to be husband, Nathan Younger. Nathan proceeded in her death just one month earlier.
Donna is survived by her five children, David and Patty (Murray) of Aurora, Timothy of Thornton, Douglas and Peggy of Centennial, Tammy of Seibert, and James and Nancy (Parker) of Arvada; as well as 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren
Services for Donna will be Friday, July 12, 2024 at 11:00am. Services will be held at Olinger Mortuary in Thornton, Colorado, which will be immediately, followed by a reception. A Catholic Mass and Burial for Donna and Nathan will be at St. Fidelis Catholic Church in Victoria, Kansas on Saturday, July 20.
