Doris Corrine Stuhlmiller

Doris Corrine Stuhlmiller, age 91 passed away peacefully July 14th, 2023. She was born April 19, 1932 in St. Francis Kansas to Grover and Emma Cook. She married her love, Junius Neil Stuhlmiller in December 1948 who preceded her in death.

Doris loved to love on people. You did not leave her house without your tummy full, a hug, and a kiss. Doris rarely sat down, she had the gift of service and was happiest doing thing for others.

Doris was first and foremost a farm girl and tough as they come. From 1951 to 1952 she worked at Mountain State Television and Telephone as an operator. She was a school bus driver for Adams County Colorado and Liberty schools of Joes Colorado for many years.

Doris is survived by her sisters Betty Smith and Gladis Dando; sister-in-law Rena Weick, sister-in-law Linda Day and husband Jim; her children Cynthia Kaiser, Steven Stuhlmiller, Susan Glasco and husband Robert, Dan Stuhlmiller and partner Debbie, Shelly Kowalski and husband Ron; grandchildren Corrine Gugelmeyer, Vickie Kern, David Allen, Derek Allen, Laci Kirkman, Andy Kowalski, Ryan Stuhlmiller, Megan Kestell, Crystal Scott, Adam Stuhlmiller, Jean Winston, and James Winston; plus 27 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. All of whom she loved and impacted greatly.

Please join us celebrating her life Friday August 4th, 2023 between 12:00-2:00. Graveside ceremony will be first for those who wish to attend. Service to follow with reception. Olinger Highland Mortuary and cemetery at 10201 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado.
