Drusella “Fay” Brangoccio, August 25, 1930 – April 14, 2019. Passed away peacefully on Palm Sunday April 14th surrounded by her loving family. Fay was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Willie and Veda Poynor. Preceded in death by her parents, Gene Poynor (brother), Earl Poynor (brother), surviving siblings include: Willie Mae Wambolt (sister), Leon Poynor (brother), Joyce Burrows (sister), and Patsy Gravette (sister).
Fay was married to her beloved husband the late, James J. Brangoccio Sr. for 62+ years of marriage. She is survived by sons: James J. Brangoccio Jr, Michael Brangoccio (Kimberly), Dean Brangoccio (Lisa); eight grandchildren: Jacob Brangoccio, Eric Brangoccio, Kelsey Brangoccio, Jessica Brangoccio, Sarah Brangoccio, David Brangoccio, Cole Brangoccio and Andrew Brashears.
Fay’s life was dedicated to serving others. She was strong, determined, loving, hardworking with joy and purpose that always put her family’s needs and others in front of her own. She built a life-long legacy of helping and serving others and is a tremendous role model not only to her family but to everyone she encountered. She loved God and lived a Christian life doing her best no matter the circumstance.
