

Earl E. Ammerman, age 89, of Denver, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully on September 14th, 2024. Earl was born on July 7th, 1935 on a farm in Harrison Township in Wayne County, Indiana. He lived a life marked by hard work, generosity, and kindness.
Earl was a beloved brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his brothers Bruce and Robert, children Connie Jolin, Scott, Brett, Curtt, and Earl (Gene), 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan.
Earl graduated from Lincoln High School in Cambridge City, Indiana. He received his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Animal Husbandry from Purdue University and his Master’s of Science Degree and PhD in Animal Husbandry from the University of Wyoming. He was a member of the American Society of Animal Science, the Poultry Science Society, and the American Feed Industry Association Nutrition Council. He loved family, hunting and fishing, golfing, and his church.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Earl’s life will be held on Tuesday, September 24th at 4 pm at Northglenn Christian Church, 1800 E 105th Pl, Northglenn, CO 80233, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Northglenn Christian Church.
Earl Ammerman will be remembered for his warmth, wisdom, and the love he so freely gave. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
