Edwin grew up in Nebraska and later graduated from Lincoln High School. Shortly after graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, stationed at Bentwaters, England, from March 21, 1965, to March 20, 1969. His time in the service reflected his lifelong values of dedication, loyalty, and integrity.
Following his military service, Edwin worked as a machinist for Avaya, where his skill and strong work ethic earned the respect of his colleagues. He retired after 22 years of devoted service.
In 1969, Edwin married the love of his life, Linda Hill. Together they built a beautiful life over 56 years of marriage, raising two daughters, Renee Moran and April Daley. Edwin was a proud grandfather to his grandson, Zachary Moran, who brought him great joy.
Edwin was happiest outdoors—fishing, hunting, waterskiing, and camping with family and friends. He had a deep appreciation for nature and animals, always finding peace and joy in the simple pleasures of life.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda; daughters, Renee Moran and April Daley; grandson, Zachary Moran; and two sisters, Sharon Jolley and Louvan Navarette.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Edwin’s memory to the ASPCA or the Humane Society.
Edwin will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
