Elaine J. Gunderson Moulton

She was born to the late Olaf and Eulah Gunderson on October 26, 1940, in Kimball, Nebraska. She graduated from Dix High School in 1958. She married the late James W Moulton in 1959, and in 1969 they settled in Northglenn.

For 25 years, Elaine worked for the Five Star School District 12, until she retired in 2000. For the last 7 years she was working as a Certified Nurse’s assistant, providing nurturing care for others.

Elaine was an active member of Northglenn Christian Church, and the Northglenn Elks. She loved to compete at dog shows with her champion Pekinese and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

Elaine is survived by three children: Michael and Cynthia Moulton of Northglenn, and Jeffrey and his wife Deborah of Loveland. She is also survived by five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, her sister Audrey Solo of California and her brother Marion Gunderson of California.

A visitation will be held Friday, October 14, 2011 from 4 - 7pm. A funeral service will be Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 10am. Both at Olinger Highland Mortuary, 10201 N Grant Street, Thornton, CO. A reception will immediately follow at the Elks Lodge, 10969 Irma Drive, Northglenn, Colorado.
