Elizabeth Mona (Liz) Wamsley was born on November 9, 1961 in Denver, Colorado. Liz grew up in Englewood, Colorado. She graduated from Metropolitan State College in 2007 with a degree in Human Services with an emphasis in Addictions. She accepted the Lord as her personal savior in 2014. She resided in Westminster, Colorado with her boyfriend, Silver Ruby, until she joined the Lord on November 4, 2025.
Liz is survived by her Dad, I.L.; her mom, Pat; her sister, Terrie; her brother, Robin; her sister-in-law, Linda, her two daughters, Nichole and Leslie; her son-in-law, Junior; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and cousins. Liz is preceded in death by her stepdad, Dale; her granddaughter, Sammy; and her paternal and maternal grandparents. Liz will be dearly missed by all her family and friends!
Memorial service for family and close friends will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Olinger Highland Mortuary located at 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229. Viewing will be provided for family and close friends at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.
Liz will be laid to rest at Bellview Cemetery in Westminster, Colorado.
