Mrs. Lucio was born on August 24, 1936, in Runnels County, TX, to Isabel and Concepcion Jaso. She was a longtime resident of San Angelo, TX. She and her husband, Ruben, moved back to Colorado to be with their children in mid-2019. Eloisa was married to Ruben Aguirre Lucio on November 15, 1957. He preceded her in death on December 23, 2019. Eloisa’s past careers included agricultural work, and worked many years with Aspen Ribbons, Inc. in Lafayette, CO. She also was a loving wife and homemaker.
Eloisa was a woman who demonstrated happiness and excitement in everything she did. She took pride and care with her home, enjoyed Tex-Mex food, baked sweets, and created gifts by sewing, along with cross-stitching for her family and friends. Gambling in the hills was a favorite getaway. Eloisa always loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her passion, strength, and energetic loving care as a mother and grandma taught us to overcome any obstacle.
