Eric Angelo Vigil

Eric was born on May 27, 1986 to father, John Vigil and mother, Dana Trujillo at Mercy Hospital in North Denver, CO. After his birth, he was welcomed home by his new big brother Jon Jon lll. As Eric grew, he came to love wrestling, fishing, camping, and cooking, all of which would continue throughout his life. In 2005, Eric graduated Ranum High School and proceeded to further his education through the Art Institute of Houston, TX in the culinary industry. As his passion for cooking grew, he would later become one of the chefs at Morton's Steak House then at the Travel Centers of America. After deciding to put the knives down, Eric worked as a forklift driver and on a manufacturing line at Patriot Well Solution's, building equipment for the oil fields here in Colorado.

Eric met Andrea Frase at the Travel Centers of America where they both worked. While together, he taught her about his culinary enthusiasm and devotion for family. She would watch him create some of his most famous dishes including his jerky, which soon became a birthday and Christmas traditional gift. Their relationship began on October 28, 2013 and flourished through the years until his passing.

Eric couldn't ever let go of the Colorado outdoors and always made it a point to spend quality time with family and friends while exploring diverse majestic mountain and lake views; memories that will last a lifetime.

Eric is survived by his parents, Dana Aguayo and her Significant Other David Monjaras, and John Vigil. Additionally, his common-law wife Andrea Frase, brother, Jon Jon Vigil lll, sister-in-law Jessica, and nephews, Armani, Juan, and Xovoni. Grandparents, Include, John Vigil Sr.

Robert and Sylvia Rodriguez, and Eloy and Sonja Trujillo. Aunt Cindy Mora and her children Dennis Mora Jr. and Brandon Mora, Aunt Barbara, Aunt Carol, and Aunt Fran; and Uncles Ray, Mario, Delfino, Keith, Eloy Jr., and Great Uncle, Robert Solano. In addition to many Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and friends.

Eric is preceded in death by his Grandmother Juanita Vigil, Great Grandparents Arcelia and Charlie Rodriguez and Della and Ralph Solano.

A Memorial Service for Eric Vigil will be held on August 24, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Olinger Highland Mortuary.
