Ernestina Berlinda Quintana

Ernestina Quintana, Age 83 passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026 Denver, Colorado, surrounded by her loving family after many years with Alzheimer’s Disease and other medical complications. Although she suffered from this disease for many years, she retained her sweet personality and tenderness, sweet spirit until she went home to be with the lord. She was loved by everyone who knew her.

Born on June 14, 1942, Tina was the 4th of 5 children of Matias and Ynacita Deherrera, Raised in Valdez New Mexico. Tina met her husband Librado Quintana from Taos, New Mexico. The couple married and were blessed with seven children. Tina dedicated her life to caring for her husband and children as a devoted stay-at-home mother. After raising her family, she continued her nurturing work as a preschool teacher for ten years before retiring. Her life was centered on faith, family, love and she gave selflessly to those around her.

She is survived by her loving Children, Geraldine Yvonne (Dave), Darlene Nancy (Art), Anthony (Vicki), Joseph (Fonda), Marie Ruth (James), Debbie (Luis), Elizabeth “Liz” (Pete). With 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 5 Great- Great Grand Children and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister Sally Maestas.

She was preceded in death by her husband Librado Quintana and parents Matias and Ynacita and siblings Sisters Teofila, Connie, brothers Orlando, Charlie and daughter-in-law Victoria Quintana and Alex Martinez Great Grandson.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm Wednesday on February 18, 2026 at, Olinger Highland Mortuary 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229.

The Rosary prayer is at 10:30 and Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am Thursday February 19, 2026 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church 11385 Grant Drive, Northglenn, CO 80233. Burial will follow the service at Olinger Highland Mortuary 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229.

Reception to Follow from 1:30 to 3:30 pm at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church 11385 Grant Drive.
