

Fay was born July 28, 1948, just minutes before her twin sister Kay (Ralph Harvey) in LaHarpe, Kansas to proud parents, Robert “Bobby” and Ellen Blevins and older brothers Jim (Virginia "Tilly") and Frank Blevins. The family moved to Denver, Colorado in 1949. Fay later married the love of her life, Larry Jacobson, on January 7, 1965. They built a life together and raised two daughters in Commerce City, CO, where she also served the community working for Adams 14 school District for over 25 years. Fay made many friends throughout the years working and volunteering for the school district, and will be remembered by everyone who knew her as a loving and devoted mother, generous friend, and amazing and caring grandmother. Spending time with her family and friends, whether it was gatherings or lunch plans, traveling, reading and decorating were her favorite things to do.
She is survived by her daughters; Deborah “Jake” (Darin Derr) and DeAnna (Barry Reece), grandchildren; Dana, Granger Derr, Colton Derr (Payton) and Zeke Derr, and great-granddaughter Raelynn, Brother Jim Blevins (Tillie),Niece, SuzAnne (John Garcia), who was always like a daughter to her, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving and ever devoted husband, Larry Jacobson, twin sister, Kay Harvey, brother Frank Blevins, parents Bobby and Ellen Blevins.
An open house style wake will be held on Friday, January 5th from 4 -8 PM at Olinger Highland in the large chapel, Heritage Hall. The address is 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229. During the wake, we invite you to share a memory or a story of Fay. We hope you will join us, your memories are very meaningful to us.
