

He was born August 5, 1942, in Enid, Oklahoma, the son of late Lloyd M. and Lena Hoyt. On April 20, 1963, he married Marilyn Don Hibner, who survives.
He served in the US Air Force as an aircraft mechanic in the 1960s. After his discharge he was employed by United Airlines, Frontier Airlines, and United Parcel Service.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Kim Hoyt; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Karla Hoyt; daughter Michelle Finch; daughter Melissa Hoyt; grandchildren, Zachary Frank, Candice Hoyt, Trevor Hoyt, Celina Kreps, Gunnar Hoyt, Ashley Hoyt, Reghan Hoyt, Tristan Finch, Sydney Hoyt, Alissa Nieto; and seven great grandchildren; sister Phyllis Ingram; sister Connie Beuerlein. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Derril Hoyt and L.D. Hoyt.
A viewing will be held Monday, June 1 at Olinger Mortuary, 10201 North Grant St, Thornton, Colorado from 4-8pm.
Services will be held June 2 at 10am, Northwest Church of Christ, 5255 W. 98th, Westminster, Colorado. Burial services following at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
