

Francis Jane Bowman, affectionately known as "Jane," peacefully passed away at the age of 101 in her home on 7/27/2023
Jane was born on February 9, 1922 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to her loving parents William and Frances Haley. She grew up alongside her brother Billy and sister Evelyn. In 1944, she married the love of her life, Ken Bowman, with whom she shared 55 cherished years.
Throughout her life, Jane pursued many passions and interests. She actively participated in various activities including PEO, bridge clubs, and church events. Jane and Ken traveled all over the world and lived in many locations, enriching their lives with diverse experiences.
Jane had a bright and adventurous personality, always carrying an air of elegance and grace. She was known for her kind heart and generous spirit, touching the lives of many with her boundless love and infectious laughter.
Jane is survived by her loving brother, Billy, her adoring son Jon, and her daughter Joy. She leaves behind the legacy of three cherished grandchildren: Christopher, Jessica, and Robin, along with their families.
She joins in heaven her late husband, Ken, sister Evelyn, mother Frances, aunt Clara and granddaughter Summer, along with many friends who shared her journey during her remarkable 101 years.
A memorial service to honor Jane's extraordinary life will be held at Calvary Episcopal Church located at 1320 Arapahoe St, in Golden, Colorado on August 14th at 11 am. For those unable to attend, the service will also be streamed live on [Streaming Details Will Be Posted As Soon As Available]. The funeral arrangements are being handled by Olinger.
The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to all those who offered comfort, support, and care during this difficult time. Jane's life can be summed up in three words: vibrant, loving, and unforgettable. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her memory forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
