

Frances Jane "Frannie" King (Walters), a beloved resident of Henderson, Colorado, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026, at the age of 98. Born on September 4, 1927, in Missouri, Kansas, and met her husband Samuel Ardell King who was in the Air force and they traveled the world. Frances lived a long and meaningful life devoted to her family, faith, and cherished activities.
Frances was a loving mother to her three children: Mary Pollock and husband Joe, Lori Hood and husband Michael, and Greg King and wife Lynn. She was deeply proud of her family, which grew to include eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Her family was the heart of her life and brought her endless joy.
A woman of strong faith, Frances was a practicing Catholic who drew strength from her spiritual beliefs. She formed lasting bonds through her involvement in the Beta Sigma Phi sorority and found joy in bowling leagues and lively bunko games at the Eagle View Adult Center with friends. Known for her thoughtful gestures, she delighted in baking cakes for birthdays and sending heartfelt cards to those she cared about.
Frances’s memory will be treasured by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, faith, and kindness will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
A viewing will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Parish, 11385 Grant Dr, Northglenn, CO 80233, US, on August 27, 2026, at 9:30 am, followed by a Rosary at 10:00 am and a Funeral Service from 10:30 am to 11:30 am with reception to follow in the Parish Hall.
A Private Committal Service will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
