He met, and soon after, married the love of his life, Cathy on August 9, 1992 in Sturgis, South Dakota.
He had a passion for baseball and was a member of Northern Light Little League for many, many years. He was a board member, umpire, mentor and coach. His heart was always in the right place coaching the youth whether he was on or off the field. He helped build character, self-reliance, and sportsmanship in thousands of players and parents throughout the years. He had a passion for riding his Harley with Cathy, the great outdoors, spending time with his family who he shared endless moments creating memories while hunting, fishing, camping and boating.
The unconditional love he had and taught his family, especially his grandchildren was a unique treasure that will never be forgotten.
