Holly Christine Pauly

Holly Christine Nelson Pauly of Thornton, Colorado passed away on October 10th, 2022 in Westminster, Colorado surrounded by her loving family. Holly was born on March 2nd, 1977 in Ft. Sill Oklahoma to Terry and Julie Nelson.

Holly was beloved by her family and friends. As a child she traveled the world with her Army family, living in Germany for 6 years and enjoying the European culture. She received a finance degree from the University of Notre Dame and married to Justin in 2000 but her highest calling was as a mother to her wonderful children Morgan and Garrett. She could always be found at lacrosse and soccer games, swim meets, and marching band competitions with her big "mom bag" in tow full of sunscreen, band-aids, and of course snacks. Holly loved to share her talent for cooking and would never allow anyone to go hungry around her either from her own kitchen or from her volunteer work at the local food bank. She had a gorgeous voice and participated in many choirs and singing groups throughout her life. Her smile, her talents, and her care for all will be so greatly missed.

Holly is survived by her daughter Morgan Pauly, son Garrett Pauly, and husband Justin Pauly of Thornton, Colorado;parents Terry and Julie Nelson of Colorado Springs, Colorado;sister Brooke (Adam) Diffendal of Castle Pines, Colorado;many more family and friends.

Visitation/Rosary to be held on Monday, October 17th church opens at 5pm for visitation and the rosary starts at 6pm.

Horizon High School Marching Band

Morgan was a four year Marching Hawk and Garrett is currently a member of the Horizon Marching Band, both playing trumpet as Holly did. Holly was especially proud of their musical achievements which were near and dear to her heart.
