My sweetheart, my best friend. My life has never been so empty. You gave me so much that I could never thank you enough. You fought with everything you had and never complained. You made the world a much better place and the rewards of heaven are yours. Until we meet again please know that I will always love you.

Irene is a strong and powerful woman who loved large. Her positivity and graciousness was infectious. Never self-centered, she nurtured those around her, even as we tried to care for her. I am blessed to have been on a short part of her earth journey. The stars are brighter!
