Irene Frances Stertz of Commerce City, Colorado passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Irene was born March 17, 1936 in Hamilton County, Nebraska to Burt and Pearl (Chapman) Juett. She was a loyal employee at Penney's for several years as a Billing Clerk. However first and foremost Irene was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Charles, of 60 years; two sons, Michael (Carrie) Stertz and Dale (Barbara) Stertz; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Irene is dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held Monday, April 13 from 5 - 7 pm and a funeral services on Tuesday, April 14 at 10am. The family will receive guests following the interment at the home of Delta Leonard, 10504 Carmella Lane in Northglenn.
