Isaiah was a handsome, bright, loving, caring, and funny young man with a truly pure heart. He had a special love for God and cherished his family deeply. His smile, his laughter, his kindness, and the love he gave to those around him will forever remain in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
Isaiah is survived by his loving mother, Maria Burnias; his father, Joshua Sanchez; and his brothers, Luis Burnias and Joshua J. Sanchez, along with extended family and friends who loved him dearly.
Isaiah's life reminds us of the words found in Isaiah 57:1:
"The righteous man perishes, and no one lays it to heart; merciful men are taken away, while no one understands.
For the righteous man is taken away from calamity."
And in Isaiah 57:18, God reminds us:
"I have seen his ways, but I will heal him;
I will guide him and restore comfort to him."
We hold tightly to the promise that God sees Isaiah, knows his heart, and has not forgotten him.
And we remember the words of jesus about the shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to go after the one who is lost. Isaiah was never forgotten. He was never unseen.
He was loved, searched for, and precious to God.
Although our hearts are broken by his absence, we find comfort knowing that Isaiah is in God's Paradise. His time with us was far too short, but the love he gave us will last forever.
Until we meet again, Isaiah.
You will forever be loved.
You will forever be missed.
You will forever be our son, our brother, and our family.
"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit."
-Psalm 34:18
