Jack was a loving father and grandfather who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He had a lifelong love of the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. During his younger years, some of his happiest memories were made outdoors with his family, creating memories that will remain with them forever.
In his later years, Jack developed a love for gambling and enjoyed the excitement and entertainment it brought him.
Jack was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathie, and his second wife, Peggy.
He is survived by his four children: James Harris and his wife, Diana Harris; Kelly Harris and her husband, James Montoya; Jeremy Harris and his wife, Windsong Garcia Harris; and Jason Harris and his wife, Jenny Harris. He is also survived by his grandchildren.
Jack will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his enjoyment of hunting and fishing, his later love of gambling, and most importantly, the memories he created with his family throughout his life.
He will be deeply missed by his children, grandchildren, family, and friends, but his memory will live on in all those who loved him.
Graveside services will be held on September 18, 2026, beginning from 11:00 am to 11:45 am at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, Colorado 80229.
A Celebration of Life will follow on September 18, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Bison Ridge Recreation Center, 13905 E. 112th Ave, Commerce City, CO 80022.
