James Dale Kelso Sr., was born November 6, 1933 in Rapid City, South Dakota to parents John William Kelso and Martha Gertrude Whitted. He had worked as an upholsterer for a furniture company. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Shirley Dean Kelso; children; James Dale Jr. (Brenda) Edward Lynn (Jacqueline) and Kimberly Kay Weeks (Randy); 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, Alan (Fanny) Kelso, Donald Kelso, George Kelso, and Carl (Linda) Kelso; 4 sisters, Viola (Don) Casey, Leah Burns, Wilda Vogel, and Wanda Thompson; also numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation is Thursday June 17, 2010 from 4PM to 7PM with Funeral Service Friday, June 18, 2010 at 2:30PM, both at Olinger Highland Mortuary, Thornton, Colorado. Cremation to follow. James will be dearly missed by all who loved him and will be forever in our hearts and in our minds. We Love You Dearly! We Will Miss You!
