Loved Jimmy! Today’s services were a beautiful tribute to him and his love of Elizabeth, family and friends including golf, Sox and the Bears. He helped me enjoy the game of golf more and more each time I played with him. He shared many stories with me over about 18 years and once had me laughing so hard I fell to the ground in the middle of the fairway.

Jim was a fabulous man and a gentleman. May he Rest In Peace and I hope everyone upstairs is ready to putt out.

Our condolences to Elizabeth and the entire family - the Cerna’s

As the Troutman family is thinking about and praying for the McIntyre family today, a funny memory was shared by my dad, John Troutman. When Cathy and Joey were on the Lakota Lassie drill team with me, we had a routine during which we each jumped off of wooden boxes. As I recall, they were about 3 feet high. The drill team dads rolled the boxes onto the field for every performance that year. On this particular night, the truck transporting the boxes was late so the dads were hurrying to get them on the field before the performance started. The wheel under Jim’s box got stuck in a groove in the sidewalk and he fell into it headfirst. My dad was behind him to help him get out and all he could see was his feet! True story!

Like many others, I met Jim on a golf course. For over 15 years, we have shared this love for the game. I got to know him well running a golf league with him. Jim has had a profound impact on me. The way he handled himself on and off the course was an inspiration. These words do not do him justice. He will be missed and always remembered.

I am grateful for the time I had with my Uncle Cal and I loved being his niece. He taught me so many wonderful things and had thoughtful conversations about my heritage and grandma. I cherish the outings, the wonderful day we shared in Estes Park, the Rockies Game and the laughter. I will miss him dearly. Love, Mercy

We send our condolences to all of your family on the passing away of your dear father. Our lives were enriched by knowing Jim and his friendly and out going personality. We shared so many great moments of fun and laughter through golf, basketball, booster club, and our second Friday pizza group. May the loving memories we all share of Jim keep him forever in our hearts.
With sincere sympathy,
Doug and Nan Gregory
