Jaxon my sweet boy! It was such a pleasure to spend time every week with you and your family - playing, signing, talking, being silly and having fun! It brought me so much joy to know that you looked forward to every Friday with me, just as I did with you. You learned so much and were always such a great brother to Jordyn. I will treasure our time together and think of you often in the days ahead. Sending loads of prayers and hugs to your family as they learn to navigate life without you. It will not be the same and it will not be easy, but everyone's lives you touched are enriched and more full of love. Rest easy sweet Jaxon.

I could talk forever about Jaxon and his beautiful soul. I had the great honor of being his teacher, and it was in this role that I was able to quickly learn what an amazing, smart, loving, positive, and joyful person he was. Our time together included activities like mini basketball games, running side by side followed by tossing him onto the couch, tickles, trying new activities at the gym like the zip line, counting, and of course playing with Mickey. Jumping and tickles were favorites of his, and we would spend a good part of our time together doing just that. Jaxon also had a very academic side, exceling in numbers and technology. It was easy to see his genius when doing counting activities, or when using the Ipad or Iphone to communicate. He was an amazingly quick learner, with Amber and me often joking that it only took us discussing a new skill before he would demonstrate that very skill with little to no teaching. 

What I absolutely love about Jaxon was that no matter what activity we were doing, he was completely in the moment and experiencing it all in such a joyful way. No matter what challenges or trials Jaxon was experiencing, his laughter, his smile, and his positive demeanor were constant. He has taught me so much in lessons of courage, outlook, and mindfulness. I will always keep him in my heart, looking to him as a model for living this life with grace. Thank you Jaxon for all you have taught me, I will miss you always.
