Jeffrey Dean Johansen March 13, 1959 – March 30, 2021.

Jeff loved to fish and camp in the great outdoors. Many weekends came and went spending the days at the lake and evenings and nights around the fire. When he was not camping and fishing, he was a quite homebody person who loved to play video games or watch movies. Of course, video games and movies took a back seat to watching the Denver Broncos. He was a US Marine at heart and proud of his service to his country.

He is survived by father Marvin; sister Jaci (Tony) Phillips, stepchildren Lisa (Scott) Green, Summer (Michael) Steinke, Adam (Shannon) Hoyle, and eight grandchildren.

Jeff was preceded in death by his wife, Nikki (Mortensen) Johansen, son Jason Johansen, and his mother Judy Johansen. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Jeff will always been in our hearts.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 1 p.m. at the Olinger Highland Mortuary on 10201 Grant Street in Thornton, Colorado 80229.

Grandpa,

Most would say we had an unbreakable bond. You showed me what unconditional love was, and I will forever be grateful for that. I spent most my days with you and grandma. I remember watching lightning hit the radio towers in the backyard. I remember watching the Bronco game in your jerseys or t-shirts. Playing racing and hunting games with you till late hours. Going on road trips to Wyoming, and you showed me how to drive for the first time. We'd go camping, make s'mores and a PERFECT steak. You showed me a love that one could only dream of. Grandpa, please tell grandma I said hi and I miss her. Remember I will love and miss you every second of every day, for the rest of my life.
"My man McCaffrey"
I love you grandpa! Forever and ever and always you will be "Loved much"

Yours forever,

Jaci and Family,

I only knew Jeff by knowing his sister. What an amazing woman she is and that says he is also. Love and memories are what comforts us during this time. You are in my prayers and thoughts.
Blessings,
Joyce
