Jenee LaRee Davis

Jene’e LaRee (Leis) Davis, of Arvada, Colorado, died on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. She was 54. Jene’e was born on March 22, 1963 in Denver, Colorado to David C. and Mary Alice (Brewer) Leis. She was born the youngest of 5 children, her oldest brother from David’s second marriage. She attended Russell Elementary, Drake Junior High, and Arvada West High School. In 1983 she married Jon Raylan Davis, and together they had 2 children, Whitney and Nicole. They divorced in 1986. Jene’e worked in many different roles during her working years, however her most favorite jobs were working at Echter’s Garden Center, where she had the opportunity to work in several different aspects of the industry, and working in assembly and shipping/receiving for ARC Wireless Solutions, Western Electronics, and SDI at Rocky Mountain Bottle Plant for Coors. Jene’e made many friends at each of the companies she worked for, as well as with her neighbors. A unique soul, Jene’e was very charismatic, and enjoyed good times with family and friends. She will be greatly missed. Jene’e is survived by her daughters Whitney and Nicole, her brothers David of Sterling, Dale of Arvada, Larry of Arvada, and Jim of Thornton, her niece Stephanie (Leis) Freeman and her husband M. Solomon Freeman of New Orleans, her Aunts, Uncles, and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her Grandparents Conrad and Anna Elizabeth Leis of Brush, John and Sarah Belle Brewer of Orchard, her parents David and Mary Leis of Arvada, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. A memorial service will be held at Olinger Highland Mortuary on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 10am. Flowers or other gifts may be sent to the mortuary or to the family home
