He married the love of his life on March 21, 1959. They were married for 66 years. Together they had 6 children.
He was born in Marfa Texas to Pedro and Felipa Alarcon. He had 4 siblings and he was the youngest and the last one left of his family.
Jesus and Rachel lived in Mesilla, New Mexico until they moved to Commerce City, Colorado in December of 1965.
He worked construction but at the time of his retirement he was the Linen Service Supervisor at Rose Medical Center.
Jesus enjoyed repairing things like vacuum cleaners. He loved gardening and working in his yard and keeping his car clean. You better hope he didn’t catch you eating or drinking in his cars.
He loved his family with all his heart. He loved to have family get togethers and you knew he would be making his red chili, (No one can make it like him). He also loved making menudo, again his was the best.
Dad was not one to say much but you better not hurt his wife, kids, grandkids or any of his family. Because he would tell just what he was going to do to them, point blank.
Dad fought many illnesses and he always overcame them, but dementia would be what took him from us.
In 2021 Dad and Mom made the decision to sell their house that they lived in for 41 years. It was a hard decision but it was necessary. They moved to Maricopa, Arizona when they lived with their son Ben and his wife Brenda. They would spend the winters there and the summers here in Colorado with their daughter Leticia and her husband Fred. While their house was being built they stood with their son Andy and his wife LoAnne in Strasburg, Colorado.
They eventually moved to Platteville where he lived until he passed.
He is survived by his Wife Rachel, daughter Leticia (Fred), Sons Jess (Amanda), Andy (LoAnne), Ben (Brenda), and Joe (Kelly). 33 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his son Steve, his parents and his siblings.
We would like to thank everyone who has prayed, reached out, called, and brought food.
We want to offer a special Thank You to Pastor Ray and Lola Chavez, New Hope Ministries. Banner Hospice for the care and compassion you showed our Dad and to our family & to Olinger for their compassion and professionalism.
