It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Johnny “ Happy” Martinez, who departed this life on February 7th, 2026. Born on October 26th, 1965, Johnny age 60, was also known by his nickname “ Happy” due to always having a big smile on his face. He was a beloved son, father and friend to many and cemented himself as a staple in the “Northside” of Denver. He loved cruising in his lowriders and being heard throughout the neighborhood on his harleys. Johnny was always the first one to offer a beer, green chili plate & a place to call home. He is survived by his mother, Carmen Marquez, her husband “Richie” Marquez ; John's Father Abe Martinez and his wife “Liz”; His brothers Richard & Steve Martinez ; his children, Albie, Destiny, Carmen, Johnny, Shantel & Adina. Along with all his grandkids and of course his “Puppy Dog” Angel.
