Known as Marty to his friends but John or Johnny to his loved ones, he was born in Denver on May 21, 1945 to John and Katharine May. John served his country in the United States Army and went on to work in the lumber business. John met Pauline in 1966 and together they enjoyed league bowling. John could fix anything and was known as an all-around handyman. He was always there to help his family.
John joins his wife Pauline, sisters Myra and Myrna, daughter Vicky, and grandchildren Teddy and Sammy. Left to honor and remember John is his brother Jimmy, children Toby Bargas, Cynthia Truelove, Sandra Guerra, Renita Montoya, Michelle Sanchez, Michael Bargas, Kathy Torres, their spouses, many grand and great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, February 10th, 2019 at Olinger Highland Mortuary from 3pm to 5pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday February 11th, 2019 at Olinger Highland at 10 a.m. with a following reception at the Immaculate Heart of Mary church in Northglenn.
