

Joseph enlisted in the United States Army and had a very successful career. At the time of his retirement, he was a highly decorated Sergeant First Class. He received 2 Army Commendation Medals, 1 Meritorious Service Medal.
Joseph is survived by his children: Terry (Carolyn) Baca and Andrea (Mitch) White; grandchildren: Taehya, Sophia, Destiny Baca, Brance, Briar and Brea Baca -White, sister, Mary (Jake) Bustos; brothers: Ferman Jr. (Jonalee) Elizondo and Armando (Sonja) De La Rosa; brother in-law, Ron Carlson; nephews: Gabe (Peggy) Elizondo, Justin (Rosie) Bustos, Caleb Bustos, Deavin De La Rosa; nieces: Vanessa Carlson, Larissa Lago and Rylie De La Rosa, and several great nieces and nephews.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Ferman and Annie Elizondo, and his sister Betty Carlson.
Graveside Services with Full Military Honors will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery on June 20, 2022 at 9:15am. Family and guests are encouraged to meet at staging area "C" by 9:00am, and await escort to the committal shelter for the service.
