Josh was born May 20,1991 to Mrs. Diana Medina. He passed away on May 1, 2012. Josh was the
youngest of four children. He is survived by three: Jennifer (Jeffrey) Lucero, Mishelle (Tony)
Rivera and Psalm Medina. He is also survived by his mother Diana Medina, grandmother Dorothy Archer, nine nieces and nephews (Nonica, Millenni, Callissa, Malayzia, Enivea, Anthony, Gabryal, Alexyss, Aaden); and several Uncles, Aunts, and cousins. Josh was active in football since the age of six. Ending his career as an award winning running back on The Pinnacle High School’s first football team. He also participated in baseball, softball, and acted as the assistant coach for the Rockstars softball team. He loved football -- it gave him friends and the game gave him strength and he always made us proud.
For a short time, God allowed us the pleasure to have walked with an angel. To know Josh was to know love. He truly loved everybody. When he spoke to you, you instantly felt as if you meant the world to him. He would do anything for you. Josh always placed other people above himself. He would give you his last dollar if he thought it would help. He always made time to listen, give advice if needed, and helped if he thought you couldn't help yourself. He had a fast and easy wit and could brighten up anyone’s day.
He had an awesome heart and led his life with it. He had wisdom beyond his years and a special way about himself to share his knowledge. His mother and grandmother meant the world to him. There wasn’t anything he wouldn't do for them. He also made time for the things he loved most. He truly believed family was family no matter what. He was the heart and the strength of all of us. He was a friend to all.
He was the best you could ask for; he inspired and guided on a level which made each one of his nieces and nephews feel important.
His favorite scripture was, Joshua 1:6 and he lived by these words.
