She loved people, loved to have conversations with them. Was always making sure that everyone was okay. When we were little we lived in NE Denver, one of my fondest memories that I remember is when Ringling Bros & Barnum & Bailey Circus would come to town in October. She would stay up late at night waiting for the train to come in, which she could see from the living room window. Once that train came in she would take us kids to see the elephants. She continued to do that with her grandchildren.
Momma sure did love Elvis, James Brown and Chubby Checker. She bounced with the booty bump and the twist. This also reminds me she ended up working for the circus, going up and down stairs selling programs. She had a pretty good voice too. She was also a waitress at Tops Restaurant off of 38th, Denny's and she sold concessions for the Broncos and Rockies. Another thing she loved to do and had a passion for was crocheting blankets and Christmas wreaths. She also loved her Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies! And believe it or not the biggest fan of her husband who raced at Lakeside Speedway for many years, she actually had more fans than our dad because that's just the type of loving person she was.
