Judith was born on April 16, 1942, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Lois and Henry Long.
Judy is survived by her devoted husband, Robert, their children, Robert Spencer Jr (Rhonda), Barbara McCormick (Tim), Sheila Maes (Ron Giesey), Daniel Spencer (Anne), 15 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren, brothers Robert (Barbara) Long and Henry (Linda) Long, all of whom carry forward the love she so freely shared.
She met Robert at church one Sunday. He was looking for a way out of going to the youth group after services when a blonde tapped him on the shoulder and invited him to go with her. From that simple invitation grew 67 years of marriage celebrated just last month and a partnership devoted to raising their four children.
Judy was a mother and homemaker enjoying life with her family and friends. As a mother she enjoyed cooking, sewing and being involved in her children's school activities. Her family was the heart of her life and brought her endless joy. Judy poured herself into her family, later delighting in the roles of grandmother to 15 and great-grandmother to 25. She loved the holidays when the family would get together to celebrate.
She was deeply loved by all who knew her and will be truly missed. Her memory will live on through the many lives she touched and the stories and memories she left behind.
Services will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026 at 2:00 at Olinger Funeral and Cemetery- Highland, 10201 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado 80229.
