Kassandra Caren Mathews

Our Darling Angel, Kassandra, age 31, was called home to the Lord on July 31, 2022. Kassandra Caren Mathews was born January 5, 1991 to Wade and Karen (Votava) Mathews, in Thornton, CO. She came into this World on a bumpy start, but she showed the Doctors and Nurses what a fighter she was. More than once she was close to heavens gates but she would rally and let everyone know that it wasn’t her time. She was not expected to live a year. She left us at 31 years of age. She wasn’t expected to walk, and walk she did. She was not expected to talk, and talk she did (like a parrot). She had more living to do. What a joy Kassandra was. Everyone that met Kassandra fell in love with her. Her favorite past time was looking at magazines. When she would look through all of those she would put a 300 piece puzzle together faster than you could, and not in the traditional way of doing the border first.

She is survived by her parents, Wade and Karen. Brother, Johnathan (Jasmine) Mathews, Thornton, CO. Sister, Amber (James) Holman, Carrollton, Texas. Nieces Britany Mays, Ft Worth, Texas, Karlie Holman, Aurora, CO, Payton , Holman, Carrollton, TX. Nephews, Levi Mathews, Thornton, CO. Jacob Holman, Aurora, CO. Brady Holman, Houston, TX. Maternal Grandmother Joann Votava, Park River, ND. And numerous Uncles and Aunts.

She was proceeded in death by her Paternal Grandparents Muriel and Wayne Mathews. Maternal Grandfather Clem Votava. Cousin Josh Mathews. Uncle Gary Votava.

May Kassandra Rest in Peace she will truly be missed.
