Katherine L. Peterson was born on September 19, 1929 in Grand Island, Nebraska to parents Frank Raymond Auhl and Margaret Rogers. Katherine passed away on June 28, 2013 in Lakewood, Colorado. She is survived by husband Charles Peterson; son Craig E. Peterson (Rona); grandchildren Michael J. Schmitz, Adam C. Schmitz, & Ashleigh L. Peterson; sister-in-law Charlotte Raser & numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents Frank and Marguerite Auhl & Kay L. Schmitz. Service is Friday, July 5, 2013 at 10AM at Olinger Highland Mortuary, Thornton, Colorado. Katherine will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her. She will be forever in our hearts.
