I was honored to have served on the COCHPC board with Kathleen. She was a woman with great compassion, intellect, and wisdom. Her humane approach to caring for patients was inspirational.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Kathleen's passing.  She took me under her wing when I was a young and bewildered surgeon and showed me graciousness and an incredible sense of humor.  We will miss her but mostly her patients and future patients will miss her.

Dr. McGrady will be remembered and celebrated at the Service of Remembrance and Celebration coming up on Friday, February 27, at the AAHPM and HPNA Annual Assembly in Philadelphia. 

She will be missed.

I was very sad to hear of the passing of Dr McGrady.  She was the best when it came to getting right to the point whenever I came to see her.  I will always consider her a friend in addition to my physician.

I was very saddened to learn of Kathleen's passing. She was such a smart, compassionate physician. She will be greatly missed.

I have always felt privileged to have been able to serve on the Board of AAHPM with Kathleen. Dedicated, compassionate leader who often reminded us of the real work at hand, improving the care of those with life-limiting illnesses. Kathleen was an incredibly smart and caring physician.  I learned a lot from working with her as a physician manager and colleague.  She had the ability to recognize subtle signs, complex issues and the courage to speak up in the face of disapproval.  I am so saddened by losing her.

Kathleen was the quintessential caring physician. She exemplified what it meant to provide exceptional patient care and compassion. I will always be thankful for the opportunity to have worked with her and to have shared many fond memories.

It was a pleasure and honor to have worked with Kathleen for many years with Colorado Permanente Medical Group.

Kathleen and I first met when we were "newbie" board members for AAHPM.  My wife and I always looked forward to attending those board meetings, since it meant we got to see Kathleen.  What a great person!  Her presence was always calming and improved the atmosphere of wherever we were.  She will be sorely missed.

Kathleen brought joy and fun into a room when she entered, even when she herself was coping with physical limitations. I so looked forward to seeing her at AAHPM Board meetings, and will miss her a lot! Kate
