Kathryn Rae Adams

Kathy is joining her husband Billy Lee Adams who passed before her on 8/5/22 and was honored at Fort Logan National Cemetery.

Kathy was born in Des Moines Iowa at 2:53 AM on August 28th 1945 to Quinten Hale Gochanour and Kathryn Joyce Gochanour (Taylor). Throughout her life she always did everything for everyone, always thinking of others before herself. She loved all holidays, Elvis, music of all kinds, singing with her beautiful voice, dancing out of pure joy, spending time with family and friends playing cards, doing puzzles and art projects, or just talking, laughing and hugging. Those who were blessed to meet her were better people for knowing her. She exuded kindness and honesty, and you always knew where you stood with her. In her working career she worked as a quality Inspector of electronic devices and her strength in following processes and being precise and analytical were what made her successful. Heaven gained and Angel and this earth will miss her always and forever.

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Billy Lee, her Mom, Dad, Her sister Kimberly, and brother Kevin.

She was survived by her son Lonnie and daughter Becky, and her sisters Robyn and Laurie and brothers Greg and Roger, and her granddaughters Morrissa and Ashley.

Our hearts are in peace knowing you are wrapped in Gods love and with those who went before you.

We will honor you for the rest of our lives and know we see each other again.

God saw you were getting tired

And a cure was not to be

So he put His Arms around you

And whispered, “Come to me”

With tearful eyes we watched you,

And saw you pass away

Although we loved you dearly,

We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating

Hard working hands and a gentle heart

Was laid to rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us,

He only takes the best.

Her memorial service will be held August 28th 2023 at 2:15pm, meet at staging area C at:
