
Kathryn (Kay) Louise Lambert, 77, died suddenly at her home in Thornton on Thursday, February 24. She was preceded in death by Robert her husband of 56 years in January 2007, and son Mark in March 2002. She was born on March 21, 1933 to Clifford and Iva (Trollope) Waller in Labette County, Parsons, KS. She attended Franklin Rural School through 8th grade and graduated from Parsons High School in 1951. On March 21, 1951 she married Robert Carl Lambert in Bentonville, AR. Kathryn began working for Southwestern Bell in Parsons in 1951. Upon moving to Denver with her husband and young family in 1958, she began working for Mountain Bell; retiring in 1983 after 30 years of service. She was a life member of Telephone Pioneers of America. She is survived by son, David M. Lambert of Thornton, CO; daughters April (Lane) Barker of Las Vegas, NV and Carla Bryant of Littleton, CO; daughter-in-law Wanda Lambert of Deer Trail, CO; a sister Jo Ann Goedeke of Parsons, KS; and 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held at Olinger Highland Mortuary and Cemetery on Wednesday, March 2 from 3:00PM-8:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, at 12:00 noon. Bob's cousin, the Reverend Clarence E. Lambert of Owasso, OK, officianting. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Deer Trail Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 295, Deer Trail, CO 80105.
