I missed you so much on suday, Fathers Day. No one can ever repalace the the father I had. He was the best father I could ever hope for. My dad was the greatest man I ever knew. He taught me so much in the 13 years he was here. Dad you will forever be missed. I love You,

Daddy, it has taken me a long time to be able to write on here.  I know that you are watching over me and everyone who loved you and you loved in return.  I miss you everyday...every moment and I hope that you can feel my love for you even though you are not physically here with me.  Thank you for all you have done. You are, and have been an amazing father.  

To all of my dad's friends and family.. thank you all for you support during this hard time.  My father will be very missed.

I am a registered nurse w/ the Anthem Condition Care program who worked w/ Larry by telephone during the past few months.  I am so very sorry that he suffered so these past few weeks, and know that he is now healed.  God will bless you, his family, as you continue to live with good memories of Larry, and God has welcomed Larry into His world of eternal life.  Blessings and prayers.


I wonder, when I get to heaven will the angels sing to me.
oh, what joy it will bring to me.

Our prayers and heartfelt sorrow for the loss of Larry goes out to all who knew him and loved his kind spirit, especially for Cherie, Aryn, and Dylan. 
Larry was my big brother and bestest friend since 1976. 
Larry inspired me, Larry made me laugh, Larry played a mean saxaphone better than anyone I have ever jammed with. 
Larry understood how it is, for those of us who have seen both sides of the street and appreciated the world for what it is, what we have here in the USA and what it is like anywhere else. Larry was a teacher, a guide, a person who inspired you to be better, to do better, to follow your own drumbeat. 
Larry shared history with me with closed circuit tickets to see the thriller in mannilla with ALI, and explained why this was history being made.
Larry shared his tales and adventures overseas, and in Tennessee, and in New Mexico where I had met him at work. Larry, God Bless You! May the wind always be at your back, the Sun always warming your bright smile, and may all the Angels and those Loved Ones who have gone before us, welcome you into heaven and their hearts as you have with us. 
WE will keep Cherie, Aryn, and Dylan in our prayers and kind thoughts allways, and miss you dearly forever.

To Cherie, Aryn, Dylan and Family,

Larry and I were true friends and we loved each other.  He was my little buddy, my soulful companion, my cohort, a kindred spirit.  I will think of him often and miss him always.  He was a wise and patient sounding board and offered calm, simple solutions with a moral, ethical and Christian perspective.

A mutual love of music forged our friendship ... initially vintage rock from the 60's and 70's.  His knowledge of musical history and trivia was vast.  He also swooned to the sounds of jazz, Miles Davis, Otis Redding and the storytellers like John Prine and Leonard Cohen, but his greatest love affair was with Bob Dylan.  Larry's son, Dylan, bears his name with honor.    

We were avid movie fans and spent many a quiet, memorable evening snacking away while watching two or three movies in a row.  Larry also had a preference for television crime drama and rarely missed an episode of The Closer, CSI-Las Vegas and NCIS.  One of our favorites was Lily Rush in Cold Case.  Larry and Dylan would spend entire afternoons watching  seasons of '24' together... an activity that Larry treasured.

His greatest joys were watching Aryn mature into a beautiful, accomplished woman of whom he was so vastly proud and Dylan grow into an accomplished athlete and musician.  It truly warmed Larry's heart to be able to pass his beloved saxophone on to his son.  Chloe and Jamie lit up his eyes every time he saw them.

Larry laughed easily and readily.  He always complimented my cooking.  He was a southern gentleman.  He was my friend.

Cherie, Aryn, Dylan and Family,
I will keep your family in our prayers to carry you through the loss of Larry.  We love and miss you all.  Take care and be safe.
