Larry passed away peacefully on the morning of July 30, 2026, as the light of a full moon gave way to the sunrise of a new day. Born on February 18, 1950, in Denver, Colorado, to Harry and Ruth Pacheco, he lived a life defined by faith, family, hard work, and unwavering loyalty.
Larry's greatest love was his wife, Cynthia "Cindy" Pacheco. After meeting her through her sister Barbara, he often smiled and said, "That was it." Together they built a life filled with love, perseverance, and devotion. After Cindy's passing in 2015, Larry remained faithfully devoted to her memory, keeping her picture close by as a daily reminder of the life they shared.
A proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 68, Larry dedicated his career to the electrical trade and was honored this summer with his 50-year service pin. The Brotherhood was more than a job, it was a source of pride, purpose, and lifelong friendships.
While Larry loved riding his Harleys, listening to Santana and classic '70s rock, and always looking sharp in a new pair of shoes or jacket, nothing brought him greater joy than being "Grandpa." His happiest moments were spent in the backyard of his Meadowbrook home, watching his grandchildren laugh, play, and grow. Those simple moments with family were the treasures of his life.
Larry is survived by his son, Larry Pacheco Jr and his wife Cathy.; his daughter, Tiffany and her husband Gene Freeman; his beloved grandchildren, Wesley Freeman, Brady Pacheco, and Tiana Freeman; his sisters, Kathy Salazar, Theresa Gonzales, and Emily Pacheco; along with many extended family members, dear friends, and his brothers and sisters of the IBEW.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cynthia "Cindy" Pacheco; his parents, Harry and Ruth Pacheco; his sister, Veronica Sandoval; and his brothers, Robert Pacheco and Carlos Pacheco.
Larry's family finds comfort in knowing that he is home with the Lord and reunited with Cindy. Though he will be deeply missed, his love, his example, and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Visitation will be held at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229, US, on August 11, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and again on August 12, 2026, from 9:30 am to 10:00 am.
A Funeral Service will be held at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229, US, on August 12, 2026, at 10:00 am, followed by a Committal Service at the same location on August 12, 2026, at 11:00 am.
