Larry Conrad Urbach was born on November 29th, 1940, to Conrad and Ruby (Cary) Urbach in Hastings, NE. He passed away on October 22nd, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Larry married Virginia (Teter) Urbach on January 14th, 1972. They were blessed to celebrate more than 50 years of marriage. Together, they raised five children, Andy, Paul, Gina, Dorothy, and April.
Larry worked for Continental Pipeline (Conoco) for over 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with family and attending his kids and grandkids various activities and games. His greatest pride was in being a father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be greatly missed by those that love him.
He is survived by his wife Virginia (Ginger); their children, Andy (Karleen) Moris, Paul (Cindy) Moris, Gina (Ray) Soileau, Dorothy (David) Kauffman, and April (Jeremy) Hirschfeld; grandchildren, Amber Hanley (husband Nate Hill), Misty (Aaron) Schissler, Chelsey (Reece) Andersen, Larry Hanley, Zachary Kauffman, Jeremey (Chelsea) Kauffman, Tony Moris, Rachel Hirschfeld, and Matthew Hirschfeld; great grandchildren, Avery Schissler, William Kauffman, Olivia Schissler, Emilia Kauffman, Charlotte Kauffman, and Riggs Andersen.
He was preceded in death by his mom, Ruby Urbach; father and mother in law, Gale and Virginia Teter; brothers, Bob, Don and Jim Urbach; and sister, Jane Chmelka.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229, US, on November 2, 2026, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am.
A Committal Service will be held at Walks Camp Cemetery, Limon, CO 80828, US, on November 2, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
