Leonora was born January 10, 1930 in Denver, Colorado to Joseph and Lana McDonnell (Stober). She married Thomas M. Smith on October 6, 1951 in Denver, Colorado.
She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, her children Brenda Burback (Robert), Jody Henry (John), and Thomas Smith Jr. (Sally), grandchildren Theresa Martinez (Jon), Jason Henry (Rachel), Jamie Rosales (Mynor), Mindy Dolif (Chris), Megan Smith, great-grandchildren Drue Martinez, Coty Burback (Vanessa), Brooklynn Muck, Ethan Dolif, Mason Dolif, and Jaelynn Rosales She is also survived by her brother Vern McDonnell (Donna) and sister-in-law Doris McDonnell and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Rowena Wilson, her brother Earl McDonnell, and grandson Robert Burback.
Celebration of Life services will be held on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Crossroads Church 10451 Huron Street, Northglenn, CO 80234.
