Lila Mae Sargent of Westminster, CO peacefully passed away August 24, 2020. Lila was born June 27, 1944 in Woodbine, IA and was proceeded in death by her husband Val P. Sargent, her son Michael Stiles and numerous brothers and sisters. Lila is survived by her sister Diane Doremus and brother Raymond Carbaugh; children Terry Filter, Michael Sargent, Sheri Hardman, Douglas Lowe, Dennis Sargent and Christopher Sargent. Lila is also survived by 20 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many honorary adopted family members.
Lila enjoyed sewing, reading, water gun fights, DIY home improvement projects, playing Rummikub or Scrabble, “dabbling” in the stock market and swapping stories around the kitchen table over a cup of coffee with family and friends. She had an undying love of Family, God and Country and will dearly missed by all who knew her.
