

Linda Gail Ayres Fruhling died in Thornton, Colorado on July 3, 2018. She was 75. Gail was born on March 15, 1943 in Riverton, Nebraska to Doyt and Bernita (Graham) Ayres. She was baptized and confirmed at the Riverton Congregational Church. As a child, Gail lived on a farm participating in all the activities associated with a busy farm life. She attended school in Franklin, Nebraska enjoying time spent with friends in music classes, sports and 4H club. After High School graduation in 1960, she attended Business School in Omaha, Nebraska. She returned to Franklin and worked in the County Clerks office.
Gail married Gerald Fruhling in 1966 and they relocated to Thornton, Colorado. Gail was a loving and caring Mother of five boys--Greg, Gary, Grant, Gavin and Glenn. It was a busy household with lots of activity. Gail and Gerald divorced later. As the boys went off to school, Gail went to work for American Furniture Company and H&R Block doing taxes during tax season. She worked until September 2015 when she suffered a stroke and was unable to return to her job. Gail was a resident at the Sunny Acres Care facility in Thornton until her death.
Surviving are her sons, Greg, Gary, Grant, Gavin and Glenn all of Thornton, brother, Gene and wife, Patricia, of Franklin, Nebraska, sister Gwen Sieckmann of Longmont, Colorado, grandchildren, Danielle, Dane, Brooke, Gracie, Gradey, Olivia, two great grandchildren, Brayden, Kayleigh. and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister, Gloria Sue and Brother, Gary.
