On May 14th 2026, Linda Hartner of Northglenn Colorado lost her long battle with dementia and passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter and son in law, where she spent the last four and a half years, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Linda was born August 15th 1945 and raised in Colorado by her parents Marjorie and John Stubert. Linda graduated Ranum High School in 1963.
Linda met her husband Jack Hartner in the late 60's and married in 1970. Together, Linda and Jack had two children, son Brian Hartner and daughter Melisa Bours.
Linda dedicated her life to raising her family and creating a loving home for those around her. She was a devoted mother who generously gave her time volunteering at her children’s schools and was known throughout the neighborhood for caring for and babysitting many of the neighborhood children.
Linda was known for her caring heart, selfless nature, and hardworking spirit. Throughout her life, she worked in retail, sold cars, and later became a pharmaceutical representative. Most recently, she worked at Walmart, where she became well known and loved within the community. Linda worked at Walmart for almost 15 years, and most people would go to "her" walmart just to see her.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially playing bingo with her dear friend Vicki and spending time at the slot machines, where her laughter and excitement brought smiles to those around her. Linda treasured time spent with loved ones and created many cherished memories throughout her life. After courageously overcoming breast cancer, she continued to live life with grace, humor, and determination

The love she gave remained to stay.
