Hi Dad

Cannot believe it has bee 3 years already. Seems like yesterday. I think about you always, so many memories, little things that remind me of you so often.  I miss you so much, some days, just hearing a song on the radio or a comment, tears fill my eyes out of the blue. I miss your honory smiie and those blue eyes. We all miss you very much and will always remember the great amazing dad you were and all the fun things we did. I know you are watching over us, my angel above. Love you forever & ever,

Dad i cat believe that its been a year that we said our goodbyes. I miss comming home and seeing you in your chair warching t.v. giving you a hard time at dinner. Dad, Cannot believe it has been a year since you have become our angel up above. I know you are watching over all of us all the time. We all have several little things that happen, that shows that you have our backs. Every time I hear a song that you liked or find a quarter or many other little things, I shed a little happy teardrop for you. Talking to MOM about you helps me. I always think I will see you sitting in your chair every time I go to your house. We all celebrated your life yesterday, with mom & our families. She is struggling, but doing better, I can see the sadness in her eyes. I will just continue to remember the great times and know that I will see you again one day. Love & miss you so much. Happy Grandparents Day Grandpa! I sure do miss you a lot and wish I could come visit you to sit on your lap and get a great big grandpa hug with the big hands wrapped around me.....yes even at my age I still did that every time I saw you!! We are still finding quarters from you. Just recently on our camping trip while getting ready for bed the girls found one on the side of my bed. They are cute and always check the date to see if it's from the year they were born because the one you dropped for Darren was from the year he was born. Thanks for keeping your presence alive with all of us, it makes it fun to see the kids faces light up with excitement when they find your quarters. Always jogs a memory or two with the little ones and allows them to talk about YOU!! Love you Grandpa! Love Your Lacy

HI Dad, Just wanted to say hi and let you know that I miss you. Just sitting here watching the pre-season bronco game and switching to the Nascar race (on rain delay),& on my computer and I see a link and open to listen to one of your favorite songs from way back when, (The Race is On). All of these are things that you loved to do, and then the memories began, along with the tears. I have so many good memories. I started a new job a couple of weeks ago and guess what my parking space number is,#5. Just tells me you are watching over me. Love and miss you, forever in my heart. Gail

Happy Birthday to my Dad, my Hero, he would have been 85 years old today. I still miss you dearly, I still think of you all the time. 
There are times in life when you wish you could bring someone down from heaven, spend the day with them, talking about old times, give them one more hug, kiss them good bye or just hear their voice again. Just want to wish you a Happy Birthday, I know you are celebrating with all the other angels/family and friends. Love you to the moon and back, forever in my heart.

Dad, where do I begin? Our wonderful family all began 60 years ago when you and mom were married. Thank you for bringing me into this life. You were always there for me and always kept me in line. I knew better than to do something wrong or get in trouble. Mom would tell us, you just wait until your dad gets home, and we knew that we were in trouble then. Or when you called me Gail Frances, you were the only one that I did not get upset with. 
You always worked hard to provide for our family so that mom did not have to work, until you started your own businesses, then she got to work for free. I will always remember the summer vacations, camping trips, and family holidays. I remember when I was little, every day when you would come home after work and we would jump in the back of the work truck and you would take the grass clippings to the farmer and she would give you fresh milk, eggs and fresh cream. (Yummy, made the best peaches & cream). Now days if you ride in the back of a truck, you would get a ticket, (If they could catch you).
 
You always treated any of my friends like they were family and if you did not tease them or give them a hard time, they would think something was wrong. All of our friends loved to come to our house, even as I got older and you & mom would have 50 people over to watch the Bronco games, our friends would all be invited to join in on the fun. Loved going to the bronco games with you when we had season tickets. It was an all-day affair.  
I still remember and laugh when Gary asked for your approval, for us to get married and you told Gary, only if you get a haircut and Gail has to finish high school. Now forty one years later, we have two wonderful children and 5 grandchildren and it all started with you. You & mom were so excited when I had your 1st grandson,(CORY)and then your 1st granddaughter (LACY). You both spoiled my kids rotten and they did not want to come home after staying with you and going on trips with you. If you had not raced back in the 70's, I would not have met Gary and started the new chapter of the story. 

Dad, there are too many good things to talk about, I could write a book. I just want you to know how much I love you and have always looked up to you and respected you. I know you will be that shining star up above watching down on all of us with your beautiful blue eyes and dimples and making sure that we are all behaving and taking care of mom. You will forever be in my heart. Let your ANGEL wings fly. 

You will always be my HERO.  As you would say in the Marine Corp, SEMPER FI (forever & always faithful), you gave it your all and fought a good fight the last 10 years. This is not goodbye, it is until we meet again.

Dad when I came to say goodbye for the very last time l knew you heard me because I looked down and noticed one last teardrop.
 You where a wonderful man ,husband, father and grandfather. All I can say is that I love you and will miss you very much. And in my heart I will know you heard me that day even though you passed only a minute before I got to say goodbye.So I will never forget that one last teardrop.

Out deepast sympathy to Uncle Linus's extended family. Great memories in their house. Jerry Kajfosz thanks Uncle Linus for helping him out during teen years & putting him on the right path. With his help & aunt Marylou I've learned life meaning. He Gave me a job & taught me how to be a man. Thank you for all the memories never forgotten  Rest in peace.

Our thoughts and our prayers are with the family of Linus.   He lived a wonderful life filled with adventure and a love of many things.  Lakeside would not have been what it was without him being out there to press the gas and always turn left.  God Speed Linus and now you're with your fellow racers on the Lakeside of the Heavens.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in the extended Dreiling family at this difficult time.  Uncle Linus had a fun sense of humor and over the years would often tease me. A few years back when I would join my parents and him and Aunt Mary Lou at  St. Mark's for mass he would say something like 'hell must be freezing over because you are at mass today!'. Uncle Linus i will miss you! My favorite memories are of going to your house for wrestling and football games. You also gave me my first job.
