Lucy Garcia of Westminster, Colorado passed away November 7, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Lucy was born August 28, 1918 in Mancos, Colorado to Jose and Jesucita (Lucero) Lovato. She married John L. Garcia and together they raised their family in Colorado. She is preceded in death by her husband John and daughter Della Lujan. Lucy is survived by her daughter Terri (Brian) Richie of Westminster, Colorado; son John Garcia of Johnstown, Colorado; brother Albert (Cora) Lobato of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren Cindy Sandoval, Rachel Sandoval, Angelo Garcia, Jarod (Alex) Davis, and Jacqui (Del) Jolly; great grandchildren Erica Maes, Nicole Pinelli, Ricky Smith, Ayla, West, Mavis; great-great grandchild Londisha Washington; and great-great-great grandchildren Jasyah, and Kameron.
A Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2016, 9:00am at Our Lady of Visitation, 2531 W 65th Pl, Denver, CO 80221 followed by a Recitation of the Rosary at 9:30am and Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am.
